Read MoreThis month, I had a chance to be a part of something special. Myself and nearly 100 photographers donated our time to help T21 Mum Australia Network create a video slideshow aimed to raise awareness for Down Syndrome Awareness Month. Down syndrome is the most common chromosomal condition which is diagnosed in 1 in every 1100 births in Australia however there are still so many misconceptions about Down syndrome. We hope that by sharing this campaign we can help educate the community and encourage diversity and acceptance in society.

Looking at these images this month, they all seem so random and admittedly, while I have taken plenty of personal photographs this year, keeping on top of them and editing them is a whole other story!

Read MoreMel is a family photographer too at Just Be us Photography and it's always such an honour when another photographer contacts you to put them in front of the camera with their family! I met them down at Inverloch which hold special memories for them as a family. I love photographing families at a spot that is familiar to them. Everyone is comfortable and happy and then they can show me the best spots!
