Last week, I was accepted as a Click Pro member.

This is something I’ve dreamt of for a long time. I’m really proud that I believed in myself enough to apply and I feel honoured to be included in the company of so many incredible artists that I admire and have admired for years!

When my eldest was born, my Mum forced me to buy a camera. Literally.
I lost my point and shoot when she was just 6 weeks old and Mum told me that I really should think about having a real camera. Fast forward 7 years and I can’t even imagine the thought of not having it. Photography has honestly become my very favourite thing to do. The next photo I’ll take always seems more exciting to me than the last and I’ve fallen in love with the joy that it brings me to make memories for my family and for my clients.

I throw confetti at my children at every given opportunity and for every celebration. I love the happiness that it brings to us and when I was accepted, the kids thought it was definitely worthy of some confetti throwing. I couldn't say no...

I'm so excited to see what 2017 brings!
I'm sure if the kids have anything to do with it, it will include many more ridiculous confetti photos of myself!
