Those first few days when you arrive home with your new baby feels like you're in a little love bubble doesn't it? Almost surreal, with time and routine thrown out the window while you try to soak in all that's new and magical and every moment seeming more precious than the last.
This newborn session reminded me so much of those early days with my eldest where it was just the three of us together, lost in the wonder and excitement of being first time parents.
This little lady at 14 days old was such a treat to photograph. Together with her doting parents and most beautifully styled nursery highlighting my favourite colour - not to mention a wardrobe any girl would be envious of - I had the most wonderful afternoon with the three of them.
These newborn lifestyle sessions allow you to make memories of these early days without leaving the comfort of your own home and they capture everything that you love about those first weeks. There really is no better place to photograph your new baby than at the place you all call home, surrounded by your favourite things.
